From a small town on the outskirts of Johannesburg, South Africa, Vern Daysel always carried a dream far bigger than his surroundings: to build a life as a working musician in the United States. For fifteen years, he carved his name into the South African music scene, driven by an unshakable passion, relentless work ethic, and a deep-rooted love for rock ’n’ roll.

In 2019, that dream became reality when Vern immigrated to the U.S., settling in Florida and immediately getting to work. As a singer, guitarist, and songwriter, he has since performed over a thousand shows across the country, from intimate clubs to sold-out theaters, bringing a raw intensity and soulful authenticity to every stage he steps on.

Vern’s sound is a powerful fusion of blues, soul, and southern rock—described by Classic Rock Magazine as “blues-soaked soulful rock ’n’ roll.” Influenced by the timeless swagger of classic rock and the grit of outlaw country, he blends vintage spirit with a modern edge, creating music that feels both familiar and fiercely original.

Whether performing solo or fronting his band, Vern Daysel & The Burning Breeze, his approach remains the same: no gimmicks, no pretense—just honest, high-energy rock played from the heart. The project quickly gained national momentum, highlighted by a 2025 U.S. tour supporting guitar icons John 5 and Richie Kotzen, performing in sold-out theaters across the country. Additional touring highlights include supporting King's X and sharing stages with artists such as Billy Idol, Molly Hatchet, Moonshine Bandits, and Close Enemies.

Following the success of Round Up the Wagons, Vern continues to push forward with new music, including the recent single and video “New Game,” which surpassed 90,000 views within three weeks of release. He also brought his electrifying presence to the ice during a February performance at a Florida Panthers game—further proof of his growing national reach.
